How to announce to the community that a new contrib or How To is available.
1) During Development
- Email
DevInfo (you have to subscribe to the devinfo list first) for feedback during the development and the alpha/beta release.
The subject should start with one of [Announce], [Alpha] or [Beta]
2) Ready for release into the community
- Post to SME 6.x or 7.x Contribs Forum.
The subject should start with one of [Announce], or [Update] to help make it visible.
3) Add a link in the wiki
- Add a link to your Howto or RPM on the appropriate page listed here: Main Contribs Page
