About this How To

Summary: Rebuilds of Horde, IMP and Turba using the latest stable releases.

Additionally rebuilds of Nag, Kronolith and Mnemo based on Dan Browns source using the latest stable releases. Fixes to the password problem from changes in the release of SME 6.0 to the horde db password. Will use the system default random password create during installation. No need to change password to 'horde'.

Keywords: Horde, IMP, Nag, Mnemo, Kronolith

Tips: This is my first attempt at building rpm packages for "public" release. Use at your own risk.

Known Limitations and Caveats: Sorry guys but these now require SME 6.0 or higher and php 4.1.2 or higher due to the pear requirements of horde.

How To

These rpms are based on Dan Browns source. Sorry guys but these now
require SME 6.0 or higher and php 4.1.2 or higher due to the pear
requirements of horde. I have done everything I can to make sure they
perform as "advertised" but I bear no fault if they do not perform the
same on your system. Be warned this is my first attempt at releasing
something other than for personal use and while using SME for about
two years I am still learning.

Unlike the original Dan Brown rpms you will need to run these command
after installation so all the horde templates rebuild, not just the
package templates.

In order for the nag, mnemo and kronolith items be seen on the
imp (Webmail) menu you must install e-smith-imp-1.10.0-03dm.noarch.rpm
prior to the others.

/sbin/e-smith/signal-event post-upgrade
/sbin/e-smith/signal-event reboot

When accessing kronolith you get "No such file or directory in
/home/httpd/html/horde/kronolith/lib/base.php on line 63" will need to
install the Pear - Date and/or Log functions. Try these two commands.

/usr/bin/pear install Log
/usr/bin/pear install Date

If you get "bash: /usr/bin/pear: No such file or directory" you will
need to upgrade your php.
